DPD UK is taking delivery of 341 Mercedes-Benz eSprinters as part of its latest fleet investment.
What is changing
DPD says the first vans are entering service during September, with all 341 scheduled to be operational by the end of October. They will be deployed within the M25 and across the wider UK, taking DPD's electric fleet above 4,000 vehicles.
Why parcel drivers should care
Large electric vans are moving further into mainstream final-mile work. That can affect depot charging, vehicle allocation, route planning and the day-to-day operating setup at sites receiving the new vans.
